I/O Technician

Overview:

Create Advertising is looking for an I/O Technician to help support our dynamic and growing company. We are looking for an experienced and capable candidate who will report to the I/O Manager and work alongside our various departments.

Qualifications:

• Manage data transfers of all inbound and outbound project assets
• Ensure all inbound assets are quality-checked and received as expected
• Properly name, prepare, and organize project assets in accordance with internal protocols
• Oversee the internal distribution of assets to our company’s departments
• Maintain organization of editorial project folders
• Assist our various departments with meeting client requests
• Strictly adhere to security protocols in accordance with MPAA Guidelines
• Resolve technical issues in conjunction with our IT Department

Position Qualifications:

• Ability to quickly process complex details and prioritize multiple tasks
• Impeccable problem-solving prowess
• Must be extremely detail-oriented
• Advanced technical knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Media Encoder
• Experience in AVID Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, and REDCINE-X PRO is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in a Post Production environment
• Strong technical background; capable of working with both PC and macOS systems
• Experience handling various types of physical media and drives
• Understanding of the offline to online workflow
• Experience with electronic delivery servers (Aspera, PIX, etc.)
• Must be willing to work rotating weekend and evening shifts
