Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
Create Advertising (“Create”, “we”, “us”) operates createadvertising.com and its subdomains (the “Site”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site and through our business text messaging, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
- United States: Create Advertising Group, 4201 Wilshire Blvd, 6th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90010
- United Kingdom: Create Advertising Limited, 38A Warren Street, London W1T 6AE
Create Advertising Limited is responsible for (the “controller” of) personal information about people in the UK and EEA. Create Advertising Group is responsible for everyone else. Questions about this policy: michael.gadd@createadvertising.com.
What we collect
Information you send us. When you use our inquiry form or email us, we collect what you provide: your name, work email, company, role, project brief, and how you heard about us.
Campaign details (optional). If you allow measurement (see “Cookies” below) and tick the optional box on the inquiry form, we include the campaign tags from the link that brought you to the Site (for example utm_source or utm_campaign) and the page you landed on.
Analytics (only with your permission). If you choose to allow analytics in our cookie notice, Google Analytics records the pages you visit, your approximate location, and device and browser information. Advertising cookies and ad personalization are always off.
Technical information. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the Site from abuse. We use your approximate country, derived from your IP address, only to show content from our nearest studio. We do not store it.
Text messaging. When you text one of our business phone numbers, or agree to receive texts from us, we collect your mobile number, a record of your consent (when and how you opted in or out), and the messages you send and receive.
Embedded content. Videos of our work play through Vimeo, and some fonts load from Google Fonts. When these load, those providers receive your IP address and browser information under their own privacy policies.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and manage our working relationship with you
- To send and reply to text messages you have agreed to receive
- To understand how visitors find and use the Site (only with your permission)
- To keep the Site secure and working
- To meet our legal obligations
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that significantly affect you.
Text messaging (SMS)
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, or lead generation purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service provider that delivers our text messages on our behalf, and only so they can deliver them. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every other category of sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop receiving messages, reply STOP at any time. You will get one message confirming you have been unsubscribed.
- For help, reply HELP or email michael.gadd@createadvertising.com.
Full program terms are in the Text Messaging section of our Terms of Use.
Who we share information with
- Service providers who run the Site and our systems on our behalf and may use the information only to provide those services to us: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Google (analytics with your permission; fonts), Vimeo (video playback), and Zoom (business phone and text message delivery). Inquiries you send through the Site are stored in our own inquiry system.
- Legal reasons: if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Create or others.
- Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy. This never includes text messaging opt-in data and consent.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and similar technologies
When you first visit, we ask whether to allow analytics. Nothing optional runs until you choose.
| Name | Type | Purpose | When |
|---|---|---|---|
create_measurement_choice_v1 | Local storage | Remembers your analytics choice | Always (necessary) |
create_visit_tags_v1 | Session storage | Holds campaign tags for this visit; cleared when you close the tab | Only if you allow |
_ga, _ga_* | Cookies (Google Analytics) | Counts visits and pages viewed | Only if you allow |
You can change your choice at any time with the Measurement preferences link at the bottom of every page.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries are kept in our own inquiry system only as long as we need them to respond and to manage our working relationship with you.
- Text messaging consent and opt-out records are kept as long as we need them to show that we have honored your choices.
- Analytics data is kept for the limited period set in our Google Analytics account, then deleted automatically.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No system is completely secure.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it by emailing michael.gadd@createadvertising.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
UK and EEA. Under UK GDPR you also have the right to restrict or object to our use of your information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. We rely on our legitimate interests to answer inquiries and keep the Site secure, on your consent for analytics and text messages, and on legal obligation where the law requires us to keep records. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
California. California residents have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information we hold about them, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
International transfers. Our systems and service providers are based mainly in the United States. Where we transfer UK or EEA personal information there, we take the steps UK data protection law requires to keep it protected.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
